The Hunter Green boy was the last puppy born in Windy's second litter. He was originally placed into a first-time Belgian home. His arrival was anticipated with a great deal of excitement and preparation. However, as Hunter approached adolescence he began asserting himself as young Terv boys are known to do. After much discussion and work to resolve some behavioral issues, it was decided that a herding dog in general, and a Terv in particular was not a good match for their home, and that this puppy was more than they had anticipated. We are grateful that they loved him enough to want what was best for him, and so the Hunter Green collar puppycame back to stay with us at Savanna.
Hunter is a happy-go-lucky boy eager to experience new things. He tries very hard to please his people and is a happy worker. He enjoys playing with other dogs and he has learned that new people can be a wonderful source of some pretty good treats! We are learning tracking, and working on obedience. He will be introduced to sheep in the near future and he is showing in conformation as well. Hunter has wonderful bone and is just over 24 inches tall. Hunter shows wonderful promise and we are looking forward to watching him grow!
